Madhya Pradesh PSC (MPPSC) Recruitment 2026 Complete Study Material Download: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) conducts one of India’s most prestigious state-level examinations to recruit officers for various administrative positions under the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

MPPSC Selection Process

 The MPPSC Exam comprises three stages namely:

1. Prelims: Two Papers (Objective)
2. Mains: Six Papers (Descriptive type) 
3. Interview

MPPSC Exam Pattern 2025-26

 The MPPSC exam has three different stages of the examination including Prelims, Mains and Interview. Prelims exam consists of 2 papers and both the papers are of 200 marks each, whereas MPPSC Mains exam has 6 papers and the total marks of MPPSC Mains exam are 1500. Candidates who will qualify for both rounds will be then eligible to appear for MPPSC Interview round. MPPSC interview round is 185 marks.

MPPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2026

Under the Prelims examination, there are two main papers, namely:

  1. General Studies and General Aptitude Test. Both are objective (MCQs) types of paper.
  2. Both the papers consist of 200 marks each, and candidates are allotted 2 hours for each paper.
  3. There will be no negative marking in MPPSC Prelims exam for wrong answers. 
  4. This exam is taken only as an eligibility test for the main exam. On the basis of marks obtained in this exam, candidates are declared eligible for the main exam. The final selection list will be prepared only on the basis of marks obtained in the main exam and interview.

  7. Hindi Language Comprehension Skill (Class X level).
Note- Question related to Hindi Language Comprehension skill will be of Class X level and will be tested through passages from Hindi language only without providing English Translation thereof in the question paper.

MPPSC Mains Study Material

Under the MPPSC Mains examination, there are six main papers, namely:

  1. General Studies I
  2. General Studies II
  3. General Studies III
  4. General Studies IV
  5. Hindi
  6. Hindi Essay

MPPSC 2025-26 Interview

MPPSC interview is the last stage for candidates appearing in the examination. Only those candidates who will qualify MPPSC mains will be eligible to appear for the interview round. The Interview carries 175 marks, which are added to the Mains examination marks to determine the final merit list. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission will publish the final merit list based on the results of the main exam and interviews. The objective of the interview is to evaluating the candidate’s personality traits, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and overall suitability for administrative positions.
